IPHONE LOVE
After 2 weeks back in Brazil, I finally have a working phone again! Due to some pesky billing/address change problems, we decided to just cancel my phone while we were in the US and then set up a new number on McKay’s account when we got back.
Well, it only took 2 weeks but now we’re back in business! Since we’re also being ultra resourceful and using our wifi hotspots as our home Internet (thank you, unlimited data) I was pretty cut off from the world for the last couple weeks.
It’s amazing how much you appreciate the little things - like being able to jot down a blog post while you are sitting in the car with your sleeping toddler, or refreshing Instagram anywhere - when you’ve been without them for a while.
As soon as Harper wakes up from her car nap we’ll be heading in to a churrasco (barbecue) with church friends. I love the churrascos here. They really know how to barbecue. The meat? Let’s just say this is no hamburger and hotdog picnic (sorry, dad. I may have converted!). Steak, sausages, chicken, grilled cheese sticks, garlic bread and tons of delicious sides. Can’t wait!
